Every tattoo has a reason behind it that makes it unique, like every client that walks through the front door. Uniqueness comes in all forms, and that is what Rae always strives to bring to the table. In better words, Rae offers in-character acting tattoo sessions, where the client receives an acting experience with the cosplay of their choosing. This is now the dream Rae has been working diligently on since they first started cosplaying and started their 4 year long apprenticeship back in 2018. While starting out young, Rae's apprenticeship began in an 80's biker shop near a military base. "I was told that tattooing was a job and cosplay was a hobby. But why not both? Think creatively and work towards your goals each step of the way."

In the 4 unpaid years of Rae's apprenticeship, they learned how to achieve and execute every single style. "I was trained to be capable of anything that walked through that front door and on a timely manner due to my military clients strict time schedules." From several styles, Rae has yet to pick a favorite, however they tend to lean more towards cover up's and touching up designs. 2025 was a very earth shattering year for them, however it set up their future to expand and tattoo throughout the United States to take a glance at where the best options were to live, thrive and survive. In the middle of summer 2025, Breaking Ink in Hillsboro Oregon had a new guest artist, Rae Villin who was finally offering tattoos in cosplay for two days. In those two days, the decision was made that without a doubt Breaking Ink was going to be Rae's next shop.

Free time does not exist with Rae, however they are a jack of many trades when coming to the arts. As a cosplayer, tattooer, larper, actor and artist, there are few moments to relax. "Getting to spend time with my clients is the moment where I feel like I can breathe. That is my free time, I get to talk and understand my clients personally rather than military clients leaving hours after getting the tattoo. I get to finally take my time to design more projects!"
